Tournaments Results

Members and Guests of the Social Golf Society enjoyed a day of golf on the fabulous Championship Course at the Address Montgomerie Golf Club followed by an evening of Awards and revelry at Nineteen to celebrate the inaugural SGS Winter Championship which took place on Friday 13th December 2019. There was an excellent turnout for the event which saw 19 players battling it out for the title of SGS 2019 Winter Champion, second and third places, and also for two nearest the pin awards and the longest drive award. Teeing off on both the 1st and 10th holes the competition was played in the Stableford format and was well fought with some impressive shots, scoring, and banditry! Following the well-contested tournament, refreshment was taken before changing and heading upstairs to the Nineteen restaurant where members guests joined the players for the SGS 2019 Winter Tournament Awards Dinner where the prizes were given out to the deserving winners followed by the consumption of celebratory beverages all round!

1st Place and 2019 SGS Winter Champion: Andy Glover (40 Stableford points – winner on countback) who won the SGS Winter Tournament Trophy and a TaylorMade Stand Bag sponsored by Egolf Megastore
2nd Place: Dean Munro (40 Stableford points)
3rd Place: Mark Parton: (39 Stableford Points)

Longest Drive Hole 15: Oscar Lind (who absolutely crushed his drive 320 plus yards)
