Introduction

This document sets out the Terms and Conditions under which SOCIAL GOLF SOCIETY FZC  ("Social Golf Society FZC” or ‘”SGS” otherwise known as “the Company”) undertake work for its clients. SGS is a Licensed company registered with Sharjah Economic department in the emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates holding license number 5287.  "SOCIAL GOLF SOCIETY FZC" maintains www.socialgolfsociety.com website ("Site")

What is the Social Golf Society?

The Society is a professional golf group licensed under the SocialGolf Society FZC is designed to create a pathway to golf for players of all levels, ages and gender. SGS will manage golf leagues, tournaments and  events for our members and guests. We provide  a digital platform to enjoy golf, discounts and social interaction with other members.

Membership

To find out more about the membership packages, please visit our website which is updated on a regular basis. As a member of our society member you will be provided with a branded kit, access to our portal, discounts with various partners and access to a calendar of golfing events.

Membership Fees

Our membership fees are presented on our website and will outlined in Terms and Conditions and will be based on a structure dependent on the time and level of skill required by a client representative to complete the engagement professionally and in a timely manner.

Confidentiality

We confirm that where you provide us with confidential information, we shall at all times keep it confidential. Please refer to our privacy policy for further information on how we store and manage the personal information that you provide to us.

Your Contribution

It is your responsibility to provide us with complete and accurate information and the documentation necessary to perform our engagement in a timely manner and we will not be responsible for any consequence that may arise from failure to do so. You authorise us to communicate with all parties with whom we need to communicate any matters with in relation to our engagement, other than those that you specifically request in writing that we communicate with in some other manner, or not to communicate with at all. The information and services that we provide to you is given in confidence and such information should not be used for any other purpose or referred to in any other document without permission. Where it is envisaged that information or advice given by us will be provided to or used by a third party, we reserve the right to agree with you in advance terms regarding such provision or to request the third party to enter into an affiliation with us directly

Payment Information

The prices we show online are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to a local tax rate of 5% VAT. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. A payment charged to your credit card is processed in the UAE and the applicable foreign current exchange rate will also apply, if the price shown is denominated in a currency other than AED. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between bank exchange rates, bank card exchange rates, internet post exchange rates, etc. Checks and Money Orders are not currently accepted online. If you are unable to pay using your Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card please contacting us directly to make alternate payment arrangements.

Payment Confirmation: Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment

Refunds/Cancellations

Once paid to SGS, registration fees for membership and tickets to events are non-refundable. The sale or transfer of membership or tickets to credit on account is not permitted. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any golf related event(s) and lessons in our sole discretion. If we cancel or postpone an event or lesson, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the cancelled or postponed event or lesson to within twelve (12) months from its original date. If a registrant desires to cancel or reschedule an event or lesson, we can process the refund/rescheduling on the condition that the registrant provides us with at least forty-eight (48) hours written or electronic notice of the cancellation request. Registration fees paid by registrants for a cancelled or postponed event shall remain applicable to the rescheduled event. In the event that SGS elects not to reschedule the cancelled event, the registrant will be offered a refund. If this occurs, our responsibility is limited to a refund of any registration fee(s) already paid. SGS is not responsible for airline tickets, hotels costs, other tickets or payments, or any similar fee penalties or related or unrelated losses, costs and/or expenses registrant may incur or have incurred as a result of any trip cancellations or changes. Event dates and locations are subject to change without prior notice. SGS reserves the right to change the events location, as well as an events instructor without notice when required due to unforeseen circumstances. Please allow thirty (30) days for us to process any refunds.

Quality Assurance/Complaints

SGS is committed to delivering high quality services and client satisfaction at all times. If you are unhappy about any aspect of the services you have received, please address your concerns in writing via post to PO BOX 336576 or via email to info@socialgolfsociety.com We undertake to look into any complaint carefully and promptly. In the event that you are not satisfied with the resolution of any complaint you may raise with us,you have the right to report the matter accordingly.

Professional Rules and Guidelines

We will observe and act in accordance with the bylaws, regulations and code of ethics of the Sharjah Economic Department  in the emirate of Sharjah United Arab Emirates‘’
We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of UAE’’

‘’Customer using the website who are Minor /under the

age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website ’

Liability

It is our responsibility to ensure an engagement is carried out in accordance with Clause 10 of these Terms and Conditions. We will not be liable for losses due to the provision of false, misleading or incomplete information or documentation provided by you or any third party in association with you or your organisation.

Termination

If we have good reason, we may decide to withdraw your membership with SGS in the even that you act unlawfully towards members of our society or staff members. We will also consider termination of your membership if you fail to comply with our requests for payment OR if you fail to give us adequate or acceptable instructions including (but without limitation) where such instructions might result in us breaching any law or principle of our professional conduct. Upon termination, refundable monies if applicable will be subject to Clause 8 of these Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These standard terms of business constitute the agreement between us, and any non-contractual obligations arising from or in connection with them, are subject to and are to be construed in accordance with U.A.E. Law. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to any future engagements between our parties unless varied or replaced. No change in these Terms and Conditions will be effective unless agreed by us in writing.

Returns Policy

We accept returns within 7 days of receipt, only if their delivery packaging has not been opened or the products are damaged or wrong product. Please notify us and return the box in its original packaging. In such instances, we will endeavour to send you another or refund the payment.
